We live in a fast-paced world full of chaos…and that mid-afternoon energy slump. Most of us feel run-down at some point during the day. And there’s no denying that what we eat will have us feeling bright-eyed and energized, or down in the dumps.
All foods should give you energy, but some are better at keeping you full, focused and energized throughout the day. Here are a few of my favorite foods known for putting a little pep in your step.

Apples are packed with vitamins and minerals to keep you focused and energetic. They offer healthy sugars that provide a quick burst of fuel. Rumor has it that one apple gives you more energy than a cup of coffee.
Green Leafy Veggies
